WaterWater...

on-line media

StableRoad and Water:

Here, you will find links to videos, photographs and articles about our most precious resource, water.

Why Water?

Regardless of how you look at today’s water crisis as it relates to humanitarian issues, economic hardship, international security, agriculture, survival... take your pick, the bottom line is that we have a big crisis on our hands which only promises to get worse unless we start taking action now.  And that is what we are doing at StableRoad.com.

What We’re Doing:

StableRoad.com is involved in ongoing water education related projects.  Our philosophy is that knowledge = power.  We are focused on creating avenues for people to learn about the issues, share the information, understand how the problems can be solved - and start taking personal action to turn ideas into reality.  We welcome your support.

How You Can Help:

#1 - Learn the facts.  #2 - Get involved.

#3 - Click this link to join our Facebook

“I CARE ABOUT WATER” group page.

#4 - Don’t leave the tap running!

InPrint: At StableRoad, we’re focused on water... the water that we drink. As such, we were curious what it’s like for the traveler visiting Namibia, one of the driest countries on earth. We had the chance to ask Vicki Masters this very question.  Vicki recently visited the country for a year, volunteering her time with the VSO, helping to carry out activities to tackle poverty more effectively and efficiently.  This is what she had to report.

Watch the slide show below... and then ask yourself “why would anyone want to drink this stuff?”
