Monaco Memories
An audio ProFile interview by Inga Stracke
In this edition of StableRoad’s ProFile series, we’re using the power of audio and still photography to share some classic memories about Monaco with Formula One World Champion Jackie Stewart.
Pit lane reporter Inga Stracke caught up with the driver with three F1 Monaco victories under his belt for a chat about superstars, glamor, winning, the challenges of driving Monaco, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace - and beautiful girls!
In addition, we tracked down an old personal friend of Jackie’s, famed photographer Rainer Schlegelmilch, who has graciously allowed us to share some of his visual memories of Monaco with you.

[23-May-2007] Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix on May 27, ING launched its Formula 1 Race Index to provide new and existing Formula 1 fans with a clear and instant appraisal of the stresses and strains of all 17 Grand Prix circuits in the race calendar, providing a 'league table' ranking of the most difficult and challenging circuits. The four categories assessed are the circuit itself, the strain on drivers, engineering requirements and vehicle setup. According to the ING Race Index, which rates circuits from a low of 0 to a peak of 100 points, Monaco Grand Prix obtains 63.54 points and is the sixth most difficult Grand Prix of the season.
