Really lovely ambient vids!! The shots are brill... took a little while to relax into them but once the mind slowed down, and they certainly do slow it down, then its very calming and makes me remember the loveliness of the natural world... good job.
Mike
I admire your site; have always admired your passion for your work (and the awesome outcomes!). Throw some tropical spray for me today!

This concept is what we are lacking in TV...sports oriented...instead of who’s beating or cheating on who “reality TV”...

AWESOME AWESOME- thats all I can say. Thanks for bringing back a piece of history.

What great entertainment they are to a Brit who is fairly new (2001) to windsurfing! When I see pictures like that, (Darrell Wong PhotoFile) I realise how spoilt I am with today's gear and how much I have NO EXCUSE for not carving round every gybe!! Really fascinating old videos too.
Windseeker
aaaaaaaarf !!!! Trop mythique!
Capitaine de Corvette (re: Rigmarole)
Greetings from Poland!! This videos is fantastic!! I saw all new production but they aren't even close good like old school stuff. I'm young (21) but I can't watch all that new freestyle movies, this isn't fun for me. I prefer old school wavesailing with all that crazy crashes and big sens of humor. Thank you.
Michal
Thank you for making available the Laird speedsailing segment from Rigmarole. I remember seeing that video when I started windsurfing, and I always have remembered this part of the video... and of course I could never forget the part where somebody jumps off a wave and slices and incoming sailor's sail w/ his fin (No Warranty!) I'd love to see that again!!!
Kev
Your site ROCKS. Keep up the good work Bro.
Dennis
damn, really fat old school action!
Boomer
I highly recommend ANY of the Neil Pryde videos produced by Robert Masters. The videos of today pale in comparison (of course, he was working with a $200,000 budget to make them). I think I pester him about putting the old vids onto DVD everytime I see him. My tapes are wearing out fast!
Marc
Well, that has ruined any chance for productivity at work today!
Keith
Ah, wondrous!
Dr Masse
old school rocks!
milkey
Ahhh and dont forget Instant Replay! The best soundtrack on a surfvid I've heard! Hoodlum priest?
Adde
That video (Guide To Better Jibing) is really excellent (although that's ancient equipment), because it shows there's more than one way of doing things right. Screamer.
Craig
What a great idea!

I wanna say thank you to everybody for giving us those beautiful videos. I’m an Italian windsurfer, 40 age old and 25 years on short boards. It’s a great passion, and I like very much seeing my idols surfing on video a long time ago.
Alessadro
the sport at its best right there....
sam
Cool speed-video med galningen Laird Hamilton på andra länken!

Wow... it is a good bit right... very nice.
Greg
EXTREMEEEEEE. hahaha brings me back.
les
Man those clips are great. From someone who has only been windsurfing about four years it's amazing to see people ripping on gear that you couldn't give away these days. Anyone hazard a guess at the length of lines used by Laird.
Rod
One of the best vids ever was Heart and Soul if you ask me!! I like Rig It Right as it's got a clip of Bjorn doing a massive jump at the end.
scott
Oh lordy, those take me back! How nice to see this stuff again. Those are some of the best videos. thank you!!
Ellen
I think it's outstanding. So many ways to come at windsurfing through film...you've got so much great stuff! I'm a fan.
Michael
Thanks for all the nice clips!
Jerry
it's still amazing after all these years.

What are people saying about StableRoad?
Angela Cochran definitely has been one of those wind girls who paved the way for today’s top sailors, who in many cases were little kids those days... Thanks for posting this great and historic video clip!!
Andy
an amazing site!!!
bryan
I definitely liked your videos on the stableroad.com website. Very nice work! The level of performance in windsurfing has always been first rate, even back in the 80s. Excellent shots that capture so much detail and style. Thanks for your contributions.
Steve
Wow. In that time they had really more beautiful films of windsurf.
